Known for being an outspoken person, actor Gul Panag reveals that she is ‘open to experimentation sexually’.
She says, “I had my first boyfriend when I was 13. So, I think I’m largely heterosexual. But I’m not rigid. I’m open to experimentation sexually. After all, I’ll never know until I try!”
Well, no wonder then that actor Raima (Sen) shies away when Gul praises her beauty. The actor reveals, “Of late, I have been telling Raima hot she looks. I think she is so hot.”
And since her just-released movie Straight is about a man who is confused about his sexual orientation, we couldn’t resist asking how she would react if she figured out that her guy was gay.
To this, Gul reverts, “I would like three of us (she, her guy and his gay partner) to live harmoniously together. We could be a happy threesome as long as he’s open to me.” After a little bit of thinking, she says, “I don’t know myself too well, actually.”
Quite a few times, it has happened that Gul has found a guy ‘hot’ only to find out later that he’s ‘gay’. She says, “There are a lot of gays whose mannerisms are very macho. Often, it has happened that I find a guy hot only to realise later that he’s gay.”
But that apart, Gul is amused by what people think of her. Some think she’s sexy, some think she’s sweet and the others think she’s dumb. The actor reveals that the cheesiest thing she’s heard about herself is that she’s dumb.
“Some people thought I’m dumb. I loved that comment. I’m a non-conformist. I know who I am and I don’t need others to tell me who I am. I know I’m not dumb. But by far, that’s the cheesiest thing I’ve heard about myself,” ends Gul.
