Recently, Gul Panag was in Chandigarh city to promote her film STARIGHT and the newly opened FAME multiplex.
Five years in the industry and an equal count of films to her credit, but that doesn’t deviate Gul Panag from her priority. She spells it for us, ‘I have always aspired to do different roles.’ Here she gets a little more serious about the topic and adds, ‘I want to leave my foot prints in the history of cinema and wish to be remembered as a credible actor.’ Vying to be known as a part of the path-breaking cinema, Gul perhaps knows how to do it best. ‘I am committed to acting career and would want to do only meaningful roles. Mere dancing and singing around trees doesn’t satisfy me,’ says Gul who was in town to promote her film.
Gul Panag said, ‘STRAIGHT!! is a funny tale about Pinu, who struggles with himself, his fears and his complexes, to ‘come out’ as straight and find himself a love story. I am doing one more film with Parvati. It was a great experience working with her and Vinay.’
On this prestigious occasion, Mr. Shravan Shroff MD of Fame cinemas said, ‘We at FAME believe that the movie viewing experience at a multiplex should be no less than exhilarating. We are proud to offer the movie lovers of Panchkula the Fame experience. With the launch of Fame here we take yet another step forward in our journey towards spreading the FAME brand across the country. The people of this city are known for their penchant for luxury and their affinity to style along with comfort. I can assure you that we will go all out to provide our patrons the best possible experience. We will also keep this venue buzzing with premieres and other exciting opportunities to meet movie stars.’
Gul adds, ”Punjab is very close to my heart, and I feel like being at home in Fame. I wish them all the very best. We really needed a multiplex like this in here.”
