Gul Panag is way over 30, but the actress who is looking forward to her movie Turning 30 says life is very uncomplicated after 30. Gul claims that when a girl turns 30, she is wiser and can gauge people better. Gul these days, is keeping busy with her sporty interests and other passions. “You are settled in the mind as well as financially. I prefer living a simple life. I wanted a house of my own and I have bought one now and am getting the interiors done. I am much more relaxed as it is a weekend home. I go there to pursue my interests like rock climbing, kayaking and cycling. I also have my own Foundation to work on. I am extremely happy about the fact that I am in a position to help others as well. And I am busy with the marathons that are coming up too,” she says with a smile.
There are rumours that Gul is dating someone but the actress is close-lipped about it. “My focus is work and I like my personal life to be really personal,” she says. “I’d rather talk about my movies and work that I am doing now,” she adds. “Turning 30 is an unapologetic chick flick targeted at women in the same space as Bridget Jones Diary, Sex And The City and 13 Going On 30. I play a girl who is turning 30 and the trauma that she goes through when a girls turn 30,” she informs.
Apart from this movie, Gul is looking forward to the release of Rajat Kapoor’s Fatso but has no other movies on hand.
