Sonam Kapoor features in the new Jagore ad, where she appeals to the youth to cast their vote. Following her footsteps are none other than Gul Panag, Genelia D Souza, Rahul Bose and Kunal Kapoor.
The awesome foursome have associated themselves with YOUTHLEAD, a programme organized by youngsters to spread awareness amongst them regarding voting.
The celebs have teamed up with 10 NGO’s who will address the youth on Saturday 4th April between 7 pm to 10 pm at Mt CARMEL church grounds, Bandra West, next to Lilavati Hospital.
The celebs will be a part of the mela on Saturday to celebrate the power of youth during this national election.
The event will be inaugurated by Rahul Bose who believes that every youngster should vote because if they don’t, someone else will vote in their name. Genelia, Kunal and Gul told Indiatimes Movies that, “If youngsters want the Indian politics and their country to get better they have to be the change they want to see in the society.”
Genelia added, “Many youngsters have voting issues, have no clue about their rights and duties etc. Events like these will spread the awareness amongst them.”
The event will also see many other celebs like Vishal Dadlani and Gerson D’Cunha supporting the cause.
