Happiness is the ultimate luxury you can have. Choose it.
I STARTED OFF SIX MONTHS AGO by exploring the concept of luxury through these columns. It is a journey that I enjoyed immensely. I realised how shallow some ideas of luxury were, how they changed from time to time and from place to place. I realised luxury isn’t always about opulence. Sometimes the things we take for granted at a particular place and time, for instance water, become a luxury at another. Imagine being stranded in a desert. Given a choice between a Patek Philippe and drinking water, most of us would choose the latter.

Good one, Gul. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I remember Aamir Khan in a TV program mentioning that every Indian should travel to every nook and corner of the country. It gives one a whole lot of perspective on so many aspects of life. Be it on suffering, marriage and a whole lot.
Your article does seem to second that.

Hello Gul Panang!
Thats just a wonderful piece of article.
I haven’t been to most of the places mentioned or the exclusive piece of brand works mentioned in it, but the point made here is pretty strong i must confess.
Looking forward to smaller and simple things in life can give us a different point of view not just to live but to all sorts of emotions in many ways possible.
Thank you for the sharing..

Really It’s been great piece of writing!!! I never realized such things in my life exclusively. To think smaller and for small things teach you everything what is unsaid. I am glad that you shared it to us. For us to do such things in life would drive us crazy how far anf off the track we were moving.
Thank you!
