Gul Panag, who has donned multiple hats of a model, an actress, entrepreneur and a politician, has now turned a writer and is soon coming out with a book on fitness.
“The book is my personal approach to fitness, a chronicle of my own living and talks of ways to keep oneself fit. It talks of how to keep oneself healthy,” she says, adding it is in the final stages.
Speaking about her passion for fitness, Panag, who unsuccessfully fought the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Chandigarh on an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ticket, says she has always made time to speak at various forums about fitness and how to lead a healthy life.
“The book is a natural extension,” she told PTI. Panag, co-founder of the recently-launched tech startup Mobiefit, which will develop mobile apps based on health and fitness, says that fitness helps her in pursuing all her interests and activities.
Having acted in films like “Dor”, “Manorama Six Feet Under” and now “Ab Tak Chhappan 2”, she says she is very choosy about her projects.
“I go for a film only when the script excites me,” she says.
On her political career, she says she is happy to be associated with the AAP and it is for the party to decide her role in it.
