Gul Panag has been having a busy 2008. After her critically acclaimed performance in SUMMER 2007, she has recently tasted box office success with HELLO. . I have no problems with bikini scenes!
Talk is that you’ve got a hot and sexy new avatar. What’s motivated the change? I was never ever the sari clad one. It’s important to not confuse what I play on screen with the real Gul. I have always been this way, it’s the way people look at me that’s changed. read more...

. Marathon woman
I had read the book One Night @ The Call Center and I heard that Atul Agnihotri was making a film on it. So I went to meet him. He offered me Radhika’s part. In my usual impulsive manner I told him ‘Sorry, Radhika’s character doesn’t excite me. However, I can see myself as Priyanka.’ Atul took a split second and said, ‘Fine; if you are so convinced then I am convinced too’. read more...

. I used to call up friends from an unknown number and offer them loans - Gul Panag
Sharman Joshi and Gul Panag play call centre employees in their latest film Hello. Surely they must have learnt a thing or two about what was termed as India's Sunshine Industry a few years back. In the film, they receive a call from God which changes their lives forever. However, this call from Bollywood Hungama proved to be a much lighter and fun-filled experience for the duo. Instead of the usual, run-of-the-mill Q-n-A session, we decided to do a conference call with Sharman and Gul and got to know their views on the culture at call centres, their take on relationships and much more. read more...

. Gul Panag fumes over the deletion of 'condom' from Hello
Maybe that's why they call Bollywood as the other name for 'unexpectedness'. It's kind of strange that on one hand, there are zillions of ads on radio and TV that advocate (in their own creative ways) the importance of using a condom. But, on the other hand, there is our Censor Board which has ordered the chopping of a scene from the forthcoming film Hello that has actress Gul Panag mouthing the usage of 'condom'. read more...

. Atul has made a fantastic film and has been very true to the script- Gul Panag
Gul Panag's early roles did not bode well for a future career as a 'serious' actress. Making her screen debut in Dhoop opposite Sanjay Suri, then committing a Jurm with Bobby Deol. So it was a surprise to most, especially the critics who said that she was all face n figure, no acting ability at all, when, in 2006, she made a sudden and decisive return with Nagesh Kukunoor's highly acclaimed Dor read more...
